Palmarosa oil has a sweet, floral aroma that’s calming.
Palmarosa is steam distilled from the leaves of the plant. This oil has a hint of floral roses. Palmarosa oil may be stimulating and soothing to the body and mind. This oil is extracted from the dried grass harvested before it flowers by steam distillation. Palmarosa is a relative of lemongrass.
Chemical Constituents:
Monoterpenes; limonene; Alcohols: geraniol (35-65%); Monoterpenones; carvone.
How to use Palmarosa:
Dietary: Dilute two drops with V-6™ Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex or other vegetable oil (e.g., virgin coconut, olive, almond). Put it in a capsule and take it three times daily or as needed.
Topical: Apply 2–4 drops to the desired area. Dilution is not required except for the most sensitive skin.
Aromatic: Diffuse up to one hour three; times daily. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
