Using the Unique Valor Blend

Using the Unique Valor Blend
Valor is a beautiful oil blend that has many applications.
It’s most notable attribute is its ability to balance and
align the physical body.
Valor
Valor is a very unique oil blend that you will only find at
Young Living Essential Oils. It is one of the first oil blends
I recommend you try especially if you are a natural health
practitioner or a massage therapist.

Valor is also good for balancing the electrical energies of
the body. It is the first oil used in the Raindrop Technique.
It is wonderful for massage therapists. Use it on the feet
first. Let it work for 5-10 minutes before you start the
massage, then massage 5 or 6 drops into the back.

There are times when more than one oil is needed to help the
body restore proper balance. These oils, masterfully blended
by Gary Young, create a synergy not available in single oils.
Oil molecules vibrate at frequencies that match those found
in the body. When the body is out of balance, oil blends help
the cells resonate at proper frequencies and restore stability.

Many chiropractors have found that rubbing Valor on the feet,
before a chiropractic adjustment may help facilitate skeletal
system alignment.

“I made an interesting discovery about skeletal alignment
with a formula I made called Valor. I made the discovery
while applying it to the bottom of a person’s feet. Valor
has a very low frequency of 47 Hz, which works with the
skeletal frequency of the bones. The bones have an electrical
frequency of 45 Hz. These frequencies together allow the
muscles and tendons to relax and the bones and vertebrae to
move and self-correct the skeletal alignment.”
– From Aromatherapy The Essential Beginning,
by D. Gary Young (pgs 30 & 31)

Experiences with Valor

I have been a Young Living Essential Oils member for over 20 years,
since 1997! One of the very first oils I like to recommend to my
associates is our very unique blend “Valor.” It is awesome just
as a perfume. It just feels good, to smell so good with Valor.

Here is how I use Valor:
First: I balanced myself on the feet with Valor… 6 drops each foot.

Second: I put about 3 drops of Valor on my lower back, bottom of
spine, and 3 more drops at the base of my neck.

Valor is one of my favorite oil blends. It has often been called,
“Chiropractor in a Bottle.” If you haven’t experienced it yet,
you are missing a really special oil blend.

Valor is one of the oils that everyone should use. On the
emotional level it helps with courage, strength and confidence.
If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try.

Give Valor a try, You’ll love it!

Can Lavender oil help anxiety?
Lavender is often considered as a nervous system restorative, helping to promote calming. Everyone deals with some level of anxiety from time to time. Whatever the reason, Lavender oil can be calming and supportive. Stress can be complicated and everyone’s body is different. Therefore, certain oils may work for some better than others.

Does lavender oil help you sleep?

Lavender is known to have calming and relaxing properties, making it a great oil to use for unwinding before bedtime.

      • Here are a few suggestions:
  • Add a few drops to a diffuser in your living room or bedroom to unwind.
  • Add a few drops into a warm bath and soak. Adding Epsom salts, helps too (magnesium present in Epsom salts is known to be sedative)
  • Rub a few drops on the bottom of feet before bed.

Young Living OilsDo Your Essential Oils Make The Grade?

You may be buying lavender essential oil to treat dermatitis or tea tree oil to help with blemishes, but are you sure you are getting the real deal?  Up to 90 percent of products sold as pure plant oils actually contain synthetic ingredients. To be sure you are using unadulterated essential oils and essential oil products (and therefore getting the full healing properties), take a closer look:

1. Do a water check. Add a drop of essential oil to a tablespoon
of water. If a milky slick appears, the oil is likely synthetic and mixed with other ingredients.

2. Take a blot test. Place a drop of oil on paper. If the paper has
a grease stain after two hours, the essential oil probably has been diluted with vegetable oils. This test is for oil singles. Blends usually have a carrier oil which will leave an oil stain. Oil singles, such as lavender of tea tree oil should not have vegetable oil in the bottle.

3. Read the Label. You are NOT looking for the word PURE” or “100% PURE.” Pure just means the oil was not diluted with a lesser quality essential oil.

For example: lavender oil is often cut with lavendin, which has very little therapeutic quality. “Pure” does not mean it has no chemicals added to it.

In the U.S., all you need is 5% of essential oil in the bottle in order to label it “100% pure.” You are looking for the words “GRADE A” or “GENUINE & AUTHENTIC”

DID YOU KNOW?
Are peppermint oil and extract the same?
Peppermint oil is the pure, therapeutic grade essential oil, derived from the peppermint plant. Peppermint extract is a combination of the essential oil and most commonly alcohol, to simply carry the flavor. The flavor of peppermint oil is way more intense and concentrated than the extract. Both Peppermint oil and peppermint extract may be used in cooking. The advantage of using oil over extract is that alcohol quickly evaporates when heated. When the alcohol in the extract burns off, so does a lot of the flavor. Peppermint oil stays intact in the heat. Young Living Peppermint oil is certainly my choice!

Can Peppermint oil be ingested?
Yes! This is exactly why Young Living created the specifically labeled VITALITY oils. All Vitality oils may be ingested.
Personal Note: I keep a bottle of Peppermint oil in my car and purse for fresh breath, alertness when driving and if I have a headache or indigestion when traveling.

Can peppermint oil get rid of spiders and bugs?
Dust Mites, Fleas, Ticks, Ants, Spiders, etc. Many of us use synthetic chemicals to deal with insects.
Single oils such as lavender, lemon, peppermint, lemongrass, cypress, Eucalyptus globulus, cinnamon, thyme, basil, citronella, and the Purification and Thieves blends effectively repel many types of insects. Peppermint placed on entryways prevents ants from entering.

…….

* Young Living peppermint is distilled as soon as it is cut rather than letting it sit for 3 days as is standard in the industry. This has resulted in 40% Methone in the peppermint oil. The best time to harvest peppermint is as it comes into fresh flower. Letting it lie has the carbons co-mingle. One of the professors of agronomy agrees with the method that Gary is using and says they are the best.

* YLEO now has I.S.O. 9000 Certification. This is a BIG DEAL! Auditors come into a company’s operation twice a year for 3 years and check everything out and if they are satisfied with the quality then they give this certification and they never question the company again.

* Young Living is the largest grower of essential oil plants in the world.

What is the Raindrop Technique?

What is the Raindrop Technique?
Young Living Oils

The Raindrop Technique is a powerful, non-invasive tool for assisting the body in correcting defects in the curvature of the spine. The Raindrop technique integrates Vita Flex and massage, utilizing the power of YL essential oils in bringing the body into a structural and electrical alignment.

It is based on the theory that many types of scoliosis and spinal mis-alignments that are caused by viruses or bacteria that lie dormant along the spine.

These pathogens create inflammation, which in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal column.

What is VitaFlex?

Vita Flex uses a rolling and releasing motion that involves placing all four fingers flat on the skin, rolling onto the fingertips, and continuing over onto the fingernail. Use medium pressure. Move ahead about half the width of the finger and repeat until the Vita Flex point, or area, is covered. Repeat this movement over the area three times.

vitaflex-technique

Combine this technique with 1-2 drops of essential oil applied to those areas of the feet that correspond to the system of the body you wish to support.

See Stanley’s book.Healing for the Age of Enlightenment“, for details on how vita flex, the pressure point therapy that accesses the more than 5,000 reflex points that are on the body. This technique induces the body to heal itself. CLICK HERE

This electrical charge follows the nerve pathways to a break in the electrical circuit caused by toxins, damaged tissues, or loss of oxygen. There are more than 1,400 Vita Flex points throughout the human body, encompassing the entire realm of body and mind, that are capable of releasing many kinds of tension, congestion, and imbalances.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy

what-is-aromatherapy

Aromatherapy involves using essential oils extracted from plants, for psychological and physical well-being. Aromatherapy is defined as the use of pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils to facilitate the health of the body, mind, and spirit. The scent is the most enduring of our senses. It has the power to transform our emotions and heal our bodies. It can take us to another place and time.

Aromatherapy and Essential Oils

smell-handsAromatherapy is the inhalation of plant oils, called essential oils, for improved physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant—often referred to as nature’s living energy. Essential oils can be used on their own for aromatherapy or with complementary natural ingredients, such as vegetable or carrier oils.

Aromatherapy for Improved Health and Wellness

essential oil and lavender flowersAromatherapy is one of many ways you can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. When practicing aromatherapy it’s vital that only pure, undiluted essential oils are used. Synthetic, perfume-grade products lack the necessary level of beneficial constituents and offer little or no positive effect.

YLTG

Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG) Essential Oils

Aromatherapy is the inhalation of plant oils, called essential oils, for improved physical, Only by diffusing pure Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG) essential oils can you create a proper mood, state of mind, or improve your physical well-being. The highest-grade aromatherapy oils on the market today are manufactured by Young Living.

The Science of Aromatherapy

Scientists When a YLTG essential oil is diffused, it is inhaled and processed through the olfactory system, which then sends the therapeutic benefits of the aroma to the brain. Depending on the specific constituents in the oil, you may begin to feel the release of negative emotions or the soothing of undue muscle tension.

How to Use YLTG Essential OilsGary Young

  • Inhalation
  • Aroma nose

When inhaling oils for aromatherapy, here are some commonly used techniques:

nose-aroma

  • Inhale essential oils directly—simply smell them straight from the bottle.
  • Diffuse essential oils using a device that disperses the oil into the air in a micro-fine vapor. Young Living offers a line of essential oil diffusers that effectively spreads the aromatic benefits of essential oils through the air without damaging their important constituents.
  • Use essential oils with a humidifier. Sprinkle a few drops of essential oil on a tissue or small cloth and place in front of the escaping steam. Avoid putting the oil directly into your humidifier, as it will float on top of the water instead of dispersing with the water vapor.
  • Pour hot water into a bowl and add a few drops of essential oil. Lower your face a few inches over the bowl and cover your head and the bowl with a towel, then breathe deeply and slowly.

Topical Application

Essential oils can be applied directly to the skin. Be sure to read the label before using oils topically, as some oils must be first diluted with a carrier oil — like Young Living’s V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex — prior to using.

Key areas for topical application are:

massage
Crown of head
Temples
Behind ears
Neck
Upper back
Abdomen
Over vital organs
Soles and tops of feet
Ankles

Steps for topical application are:

Place 2–3 drops of oil in the palm of your hand or directly on the desired area.

If placing oil in your hand, rub palms together in a circular motion and then massage oil onto the desired point of application. If applying directly to the desired area, massage the oil into your skin using a circular motion. Repeat as desired.

Note: Essential oils are very potent and some may be irritating to the skin. If irritation occurs, immediately apply a carrier oil or pure vegetable oil to the area to dilute. Please read the label directions for each individual oil before using it.

101 USES FOR THIEVES PRODUCTS

101 USES FOR THE THIEVES® PRODUCTS
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Thieves®

Explore the list of 101 Uses for Thieves Oil Blend formulated with highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-infectious essential oils. Thieves® Oil Blend was created based on research of a group of 15th century thieves in France who protected themselves by rubbing themselves with cloves, rosemary, and other aromatics while robbing plague
victims. This Young Living proprietary blend was university tested and found to be highly effective in supporting the immune system and good health. This proprietary blend has also been documented to kill over 99.96% of bacteria it comes into contact with.

Ingredients:
Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing. An important ingredient in Thieves® Blend due to its wonderful immune-enhancing features, its
principal constituent is eugenol, an element that is used in the dental industry to numb gums. Clove is the highest-scoring single ingredient ever tested for its antioxidant capacity on the
ORAC scale.

Lemon (Citrus limon) has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that amplify immunity. It promotes circulation, leukocyte formation and lymphatic function.

Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum) has the wonderful cinnamon scent loved around the world. Warming and stimulating, it is comforting during the cold season. Many people find it
highly romantic. Historically, cinnamon was so popular it was the main reason behind the occupation of Ceylon by first the Portuguese, then the Dutch and then the British.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata) is cooling, refreshing and energizing. Lighter in smell than Eucalyptus globulus, it nevertheless has many of the same health-supporting properties. Because it is relatively gentle and non-irritating, it is the preferred choice for children. This variety is one of the most versatile of the eucalyptus oils and is suitable for topical use, diffusing, and even
direct inhalation. It has long been an ingredient in some of our most popular blends.

Rosemary*(Rosmarinus officinalis CT cineol) has a fresh, herbaceous, sweet, slightly medicinal aroma. An energizing oil, it may be beneficial for helping to restore mental alertness when experiencing fatigue. *

Caution: Do not use on children under 4 years of age.)
It is also a popular ingredient in skin and hair care products.

What is Anti? “Against”
What is Microbial? “A minute living organism, minute forms of life, which are capable of causing disease including bacteria and fungi.”

Essential Oils create an unfriendly environment which becomes deadly to disease causing bacteria, viruses and other pathogens.
DIFFUSING Thieves® essential oil blend with the Young Living® patented diffusing system creates a safe and simple means of filling your home with therapeutic benefits. Vita Flex Technique

VITA FLEX TECHNIQUE
Vita Flex Technique means “vitality through the reflexes”.
vita flex points
It is a specialized form of hand and foot massage that is especially effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body. It is said to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago, and was perfected in modern times by Stanley Burroughs long before acupuncture was developed.

It is based on a complete network of reflex points that stimulate all the internal body systems. Oils are applied to contact points, and energy is released through electrical impulses created by contact between the fingertips and the reflex points.

See Stanley’s book.
“Healing for the Age of Enlightenment”.

Healing for the Age of Enlightenment
This book details on how vita flex, the pressure point therapy that accesses the more than 5,000 reflex points that are on the body. This technique induces the body to heal itself. This electrical charge follows the nerve pathways to a break in the electrical circuit caused by toxins, damaged tissues, or loss of oxygen.
There are more than 1,400 Vita Flex points throughout the human body, encompassing the entire realm of body and mind, that are capable of releasing many kinds of tension, congestion, and imbalances.

vita flex feet graph
In contrast to the steady stimulation of Reflexology, Vita Flex uses a rolling and releasing motion that involves placing all four fingers flat on the skin, rolling onto the fingertips, and continuing over onto the fingernail. Use medium pressure. Move ahead about half the width of the finger and repeat until the Vita Flex point, or area, is covered. Repeat this movement over the area three times.

Combine this technique with 1-2 drops of essential oil applied to those areas of the feet that correspond to the system of the body you wish to support. (Vita Flex charts are available showing the nervous system connection for the electrical points throughout the body.) The Vita Flex (VF) numbers correspond to locations on the feet and are noted on the foot chart.

Rapid and extraordinary results are experienced when combining essential oils with Vita Flex stimulation, as it increases the effect of both.
The Raindrop technique integrates Vita Flex and massage, utilizing the power of essential oils in bringing the body into a structural and electrical alignment.

Vita Flex and Raindrop Technique are both demonstrated and explained in The Essential Oils Desk Reference, 5th Edition, Chapter 2 “Science and Application”.

Thieves Essential Oil Isn’t Just for Thieves Anymore!

The amusing roots of Thieves essential oil make the mixture sound a little mysterious and cool.  And it truly is! The blend is named after four thieves who supposedly used the oils to protect themselves while robbing people dying of the plague. Sound unbelievable? Thieves oil has actually been tested for its cleansing abilities and has shown to be very effective in supporting the immune system and eliminating bacteria. And it smells AMAZING! Yet, at the same time, there is a logic to it that helps us today. Essential oils used in aromatherapy help reduce stress levels and keep you healthier and happier during the day and in your overall life. It has been said that stress is the number one killer for people under the age of 40. Even if you think you have your stress levels under control, you can always benefit by reducing stress with essential oils. The health benefits alone are worth your while to try aromatherapy. It is a non-evasive way to reduce stress and relax your mind so that you can sleep better and relax during times when emotions may get the best of you.

Essential oils are a good way to balance your stress and give your body an emotional overhaul.

You can even use essential oils at work to help reduce stress as it increases throughout the day. Your work environment is probably the most stressful part of your day, so using essential oils in aromatherapy in your office can help calm and relax you during your work day. Office aromatherapy is a pivotal positive therapy for your body and mind, especially during busy days. Even if you don’t go to a corporate job, home life can also be stressful. Keeping essential oils in your home using aromatherapy can keep the stress of maintaining a clean, proper home at low levels. Essential oils are harmless to children as well, so you can keep the aroma from the essential oils burning throughout your home without harming any family members.

There are several types of aromatherapy essential oils that can be used to reduce stress.

Although each of the following oils has its individual benefits, combining them brings an overall high level of therapy for your stress levels. Beneficial essential oils are Basil, Juniper Berry, and Geranium.

Basil

Each essential oil is highly effective individually

Although each of these essential oils is highly effective individually, using them in combination can greatly increase your ability to remove stress and help your body heal from the emotional drama. Although essential aroma aromatherapy is not a perfect solution, it can give your body a complete overhaul from stress and harmful emotions. Give these oils a try and you will notice a difference within just a few days. Use them in the office and you will notice your attitude towards people and life itself will completely turn to a positive outlook.

Benefits of an Aromatic Diffuser

Oils are dispersed in a micro-fine vapor and remain suspended in the air for extended periods of time. When inhaled, the oils are easily absorbed through the lungs.
